Expanded Line up reminder: Remind teams with expanded roster line ups that ONLY 18 players may suit up and be on the sideline with team. Any players not taking the field need to be crossed off the line up, those players should sit on the spectator side. There is a minimal league fee for printing of expanded roster line ups.
New as of 5/7/10 Roster size change Change to 11v11 play roster size ***U13 and older teams may have an expanded roster to 22 players, nine required primary for the ENTIRE seasonal year, and a max six secondary players*** No change for 8v8 play - will have max 14 players, seven required primary and max six secondary

OLDER POSTINGS, Still relevant Teams may change age group during a soccer seasonal year when we are not in roster freeze. Therefore any team playing if you had two teams of smaller age groups playing in Fall and only one wishes to continue then you may be able to combine them and make a large sided team for spring. Talk to your league registrar for additional details.
Entry deadlines and registration deadlines are posted to the website calendar. Please make sure all teams entering CUP have finalized roster changes by 3/15/10 the Cup freeze date.
Any teams entering LVYSL Spring season should give you team restrictions (religious commitments, graduation dates, prom, SAT, tournaments, etc.) so you may enter that information on the entry for games commissioners to use when scheduling.
LVYSL League Registrars
UPDATED for 6/2010 Coaches/Team Managers please ask your club registrar for registration information. But some items are highlighted here.
A few items to remember; Pass Photos must be clear not blurry Pass Photos must be color Pass Photos must be appropriate content to represent your team, club and league Pass Photos must show clear unobstructed view of facial area (no hats or sunglasses, blurry photos)
All players must submit RG6 - coaches do not All coaches must have current license on file with the league and it must be appropriate for age group All players/coaches who held a pass in a previous year must return those passes or they will be invoiced for them All players new to the Lehigh Valley YSL must submit a government issued proof of age All players not born in the USA must submit additional paperwork to EPYSA before being approved on a league team, even if they are US citizens!! All players not residing in Pennsylvania must submit additional paperwork to their home state and EPYSA before being placed on a league roster. Any teams U15 or older who use expanded rosters will be invoiced for their line up. READ the Rules of Play

LVYSL General Meeting Club Attendance

Clubs are required to have a representative attend the LVYSL General Meetings held the second Tuesday of the month from August through November and January through June.
Clubs are responsible for all items discussed/decided and for deadlines, etc. announced at meetings. The LVYSL will make an effort to disseminate these discussions/decisions, etc. however the timeliness of these items require that club have representation.
Meeting dates, times and locations are posted to the LVYSL web site calendar.
- If your club has more than eight teams enrolled in any combined season(s) than a representative must attend all general league meetings August through June. - If your club has teams participating in the Fall season a representative should attend August, September, October, and November general league meetings. - If your club has teams participating in the Spring season a representative should attend March, April, May, and June general league meetings.
While teams entered in Winter/Spring (Snowflake) and Round Robin seasons are encouraged to attend meetings and are responsible for all deadlines and items under discussion/decided at these meetings attendance is not mandatory for these teams.
Fees for non-attendance at mandatory meetings is $10 per incident deducted from the club performance bond as determined by the meeting sign-in sheet. Make sure your club rep knows to sign in at the meetings. |

Changes to your Team Roster

*** 2010 CHANGES are included below, please read this notice carefully***
To make changes to your team roster after the original roster has been issued. All League Registrar level changes must be submitted to the League Registrars by Club Registrars, the Wednesday prior to the game, submittals after Wednesday will be done the following week.
Coaches/Team Managers submit the following to the Club Registrar for processing by the League Registrar:
- New Rosters will be printed by the League registrar - Return Original Official Roster for the current seasonal year - PS1 for in LV league player and team info filled in, signed by the parent & player, with the appropriate action area filled in. May be hand written, one copy for the league, MUST be processed within ten days. - PS1 Out of LV league player and team info filled in, signed by the parent & player, with the appropriate action area filled in. Original for the primary league and another other copy for the secondary league. (additional copies for the team/club if desired) MUST be processed within ten days. - Player pass, with photo glued on pass or Transferred player pass from original team, Release players not transferring to another primary team need pass turned into league - RG6 - completed and signed for new players or out of league players. - Government issued proof of age for new players or previous year pass for returning players - Out of State players or players playing out of State, require a PS2 in addition to all of the above and with finalization being done by the EPYSA office (Be aware that this takes additional time) PS2 now part of the PS1 new forms generated by the EPYSA database. |

Club Registrar Assignments to League Registrar

2010-11 Club Assignments to league registrars are posted below.*
Club Registrars please contact your assigned League Registrar for supplies, information, instruction and help. Contact information can be found on the LVYSL website under league officials.
All clubs registering more than one team as primary with LVYSL should use a club registrar. If teams from such clubs wish to use a LVYSL league registrar directly the league will charge a $50 fee per team for registration processing.
*All paperwork must be organized, complete and alphabetical by last name or it will considered late and returned.
Teams registered Primary to another league (not LVYSL) must submit a photocopy of their original stamped roster and line-up to Kathy Garcia before the start of the season.
