How do I reschedule a Game?
|
|
Q: Can I just email the LVYSL Executive Director and tell him my team needs to change a game?
A: No, you must follow the Schedule Change policy (found by going to the Seasons menu and clicking on the current season).
Note:
- Only a Coach, Asst Coach or Team Manager listed with LVYSL may request a Schedule Change.
- All game reschedule requests must be a minimum of 10 days before the "rescheduled" game is suppose to take place.
- You must be a Head Coach, Asst. Coach, or Team Manager for the team that wants to change the game, and listed as such on the LVYSL Entrance Form (and database).
- If you want to be added to your team as a Coach, Asst. Coach or Team Manager then you must go through your club's League Representative. They are the only people authorized to make changes to your club's teams on the LVYSL website (not EPYSA's website).
- If your Coach, Asst. Coach, or Team Manager has a specific issue or question about Scheduling, they must ask the appropriate games commissioner for their Team's division.

What is a valid reason to reschedule my game?
|
|
As defined in the Schedule Changes policy document (found by selecting the correct season on the Seasons menu), the valid reasons for rescheduling a game are:
- State Cup Game Conflict
- Cancelled Match due to weather related conditions
- Loss of Field - Due to Closure or Unplayable conditions (i.e. Township or Borough closure, School District Closure, Vandalized, etc... - please be prepared to give the agency that closed the field, the contact, and the phone number to the Games Commissioner for verification).
- Tournament conflict (new starting Spring 2007, conflicting schedules with a tournament are a valid reason to change a league game).
These are the only acceptable to reschedule a season game. Remember that if you are going to participate in a tournament or you know of a specific date that your team can't play - you must have your club's League Representative enter that information on the Entrance Form on the LVYSL website when the teams are entered into a specific season. |
