How to determine ref costs for your club's team
|
|
To determine referee costs for your club's teams
LVYSL requires the following: U9-U13 - 1 man system U14-U19 - 3 man system
Costs are established: http://www.epysa.org/RefereeFees.html
This referee costs worksheet is broken out by Soccer Year and by various Age Groups. So you have to match the age group with the Soccer Year. The total costs for the game would be the sum of the costs of the referees involved in the game (either 1 R-referee, or 1 R-referee and 2 AR-assistant referees). Once you establish the total cost of the referees for the game, then split that amount in half each team pays half the referee fee. That is the amount each team should bring to the field to pay the referee(s).
Also note: in some cases, LVYSL may require that a team use a three man referee system for an age group that normally doesn't use a three man referee system. While this is rare, it is at the league's discretion and the teams will be required to pay for the entire referee cost of the game (each team paying half the full fee).
