What is the Round Robin Season?
|
|
LVYSL Round Robin season is league play that enables teams (U15 - U19) who wish to become State Cup eligible to complete the minimum game requirement in one weekend.
Usually held in mid-November after the high school soccer season has ended. Traditionally aimed at the high school boys teams.
Teams from across the Eastern PA and NJ areas enter this season to obtain the mandatory league play games to be eligible for State Cup.
Play is limited to one weekend of three games (minimum) between teams entered in the Round Robin season.
An additional benefit is the opportunity to use the Round Robin season as a college showcase. Players often invite potential coaches to this event so that the College coaches may view players in a competitive environment.
LVYSL Rules of Play are followed. EPYSA registration is required. LVYSL Entry is open in late September. Please see the LVYSL website calendar for current dates and deadlines. |
