The Fall 2023 Season Schedule is now open and available for time and field scheduling.

If you are no longer a club official or not the field assignor for your club, please forward this email to the appropriate person.

You must be finished with your schedule by 12 noon on Monday, Aug. 7

The regular season begins Saturday, Sept. 9 and ends Sunday, Nov. 5. All teams have been scheduled with at least eight games. Teams tied at the end of the regular season will be granted a playoff to determine the division champion.

Please share with your coaches that dates for the games are viewable under the Schedules & Standings pulldown on the www.lvysl.org home page. 

Teams needing to change dates of games must coordinate it with their opponent and then submit the request to scheduling@lvysl.org in this format BEFORE Aug. 5 in order for it to be a free change. Please include the game number, day and date in email subject line as mistakes are often made.

Please encourage weeknight rescheduling as referees are available. We will allow games to be rescheduled Sept. 5-8 before the official opening date. 

Changes submitted Aug. 6 or later will be subject to LVYSL and referee assignor fees.

Also, a reminder that we are looking to form a mid-October/late fall season for all U15-U18 teams that wish to enter. We are working with the Berks-Reading League, which already has a number of teams enrolled for this, so please enter a team as soon as possible for these age groups.

 

2023 Fall Season Important Dates & Highlights:

The 2023 Fall Season runs Sept. 9 through Nov. 5 with potential playoffs in November.

Instead of blackout dates, teams will be allowed to work with their field coordinators for “free” changes to accommodate the necessary days off during the period July 21-Aug. 5. Changes can be submitted Aug. 4, but will not be input until Aug. 7 because of the Executive Director’s unavailability during that time.

We will not have league play Columbus Day Weekend (Oct. 8-9) unless teams need to reschedule a game during that traditional tournament weekend. Referee availability is at a minimum.
